Santa in Audlem
Every year, the Big Switch On of Christmas Lights takes place in Audlem and includes the arrival of Santa.
Before Santa arrives, the Audlem Lass Team host a “make a wish, float a candle” event on the canal, with all donations for the candles going to the RNLI. The end result is a very spectacular display of flickering lights bobbing up and down on the water as the boat arrives with Santa and the Audlem Lass Elves!
The RNLI stand will also be open to purchase Christmas Cards and RNLI goodies.
Santa then leads the procession to the Village Square for the BIG Switch On of the lights on the huge Christmas tree.
All the village shops stay open till late for this festive event which is great fun for all the family.
